This workshop provides participants a framework to manage conflict in the organization and guides them through a series of exercises to practice new techniques and assess the impact.

Objective:  Provide participants a framework to manage conflict in the organization and guide them through a series of exercises to practice new techniques and assess the impact. Other key objectives include:

  • Introduce the primary components of and effective approach to conflict management
  • Uncover default tendencies when faced with conflict and the associated implications
  • Develop a plan of action to practice more effective approaches at work and at home
  • Deliver Introductory Story Pertaining to Disagreement or Conflict Management
  • Conduct Group Exercise to Demonstrate ‘Conflict Management’ Metaphor
  • Define Disagreements or Conflict Within an Individual and Organizational Context
  • Assess Current State and Opportunities for Improvement
  • Review Practical Steps to Effectively Improve Conflict Management
  • Journal and Complete Team Exercises Pertaining to Conflict Management
  • Develop a Plan of Action to Improve Management of Conflicts Within the Organization
  • Review Findings, Share Observations, and Make Commitments
