This workshop provides a common definition of servant leadership and helps organizations identify and apply techniques to promote a culture of service to clients, colleagues, and the community.

 

Objective: Provide a common definition of servant leadership and help organizations identify and apply techniques to promote a culture of service to clients, colleagues, and the community. Other key objectives include:

  • Understand and assess the application of servant leadership at work and home
  • Introduce approaches that promote, recognize and reward a culture of servant leadership
  • Develop a plan of action to set the example for servant leadership
  • Deliver Introductory Story Pertaining to Servant Leadership
  • Conduct Group Exercise to Demonstrate ‘Service’ Metaphor
  • Define Servant Leadership Within an Individual and Organizational Context
  • Assess Current State and Opportunities for Improvement
  • Review Practical Steps to Effectively Promote a Culture of Servant Leadership
  • Journal and Complete Individual and/or Team Exercises Pertaining to Service
  • Develop a Plan of Action to Improve Servant Leadership Mindset of Self and Teams
  • Review Findings, Share Observations, and Make Commitments
